Drafts first, then automatic mode

publish.php creates drafts unless --publish is present. The explicit flag enables public factual cards. First test the pipeline with a dedicated editor, check the dates and open source links. The agent should not gain permission to change roles or delete articles. The reference validates the author as editor/admin; the DB secret belongs to the publisher process rather than the Codex worker.

Idempotency and human edits

The unique key combines canonical source URL and start date. A rerun skips existing events without duplicating them or overwriting manual corrections. It also means official date changes do not automatically update earlier cards; compare the report and review existing records. A transaction links inserts and import_runs so the log does not claim success before saving.

What to check as you practise

  • One card per key.
  • Human correction preserved.
  • Lock, timeout and logs specified.

The reference project

Download the complete blog, English and Italian instructions, SQL schema, agent contracts, fictional fixtures and tests. The sample blog interface is in English. This is a local learning project: password recovery, email verification and MFA remain extensions before opening it to a public community.
