A file name is not an attachment

Writing <file>report.pdf</file> does not upload a document. Use the tool’s attachment feature, an accessible link through an authorised integration, or paste a relevant excerpt. First ask which sources can actually be read. Even uploaded files may contain scanned pages or poorly extracted tables.

Identify excerpts

Paste fictional information inside document blocks with IDs and names. IDs make output references checkable. Include dates when relevant and preserve an excerpt location.

What to check as you practise

  • Do claims carry source IDs?
  • Is the discrepancy explicit?
  • Is a file name kept distinct from content read?
